Stay In The Know:

Why It’s Never Wrong To Be in a Relationship in your Teens

I had my boyfriend when I was still 14 years old. It’s actually too young for some people. I didn’t know that that relationship would last. Honestly, I only thought it wouldn’t last a month because my boyfriend was my first and I don’t have any ideas how to keep relationships going. Trust me, I don’t know how to say “I love you” or to send sweet texts to him. Plus one reason why I think we wouldn’t last is because I AM NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE ANY BOYFRIENDS. When I asked my mom what she would do to me, she said she would chop my head off with a knife and that frightens me. So I kept our relationship until one day, I realized its best for our families to know. It’s hard to keep secrets. Now, our relationship is open. No secrets to be kept (only when we’re fighting lol).

So here are a few reasons why I guarantee you that it’s Never Wrong To Be in a Relationship in your Teens as long as you:

1. Have Priorities- When you know how to manage your priorities between your studies and your boyfie/girlfie, it’s never wrong to love. It’s also great when you and your other half studies together, help each other with homeworks and supports each other with school related activities.

2. Find Time for Others – Sticking with your other half always is quite annoying, especially that you’re always with each other personally and virtually. Balancing your time between your bae and your bffs is something you should do too. If you have problems with bae, go to your best friend and vice versa. It’s always good to have someone to run into and don’t forget your family as well.

3. Treat Yourself – Doesn’t mean it’s your anniversary/ your bae’s birthday you need to spend all your cash on gifts and treats. Save something for yourself.

4.Know Your Limits and Be Open Minded – Don’t rush things and you’ll have no regrets.

5. ALWAYS FIND HAPPINESS WITH YOUR BAE – If you both love each other and can defend your love in every obstacle, then you’re on the right track. Just always be honest and loyal. Never hide anything and love each other deeply.

It's Never Wrong To Love

And a friendly reminder, telling your parents about your relationship could be pretty scary but if you survive it, you’ll feel lighter. It’s better that your family knows about it anyway. Just take a deep breath and find the perfect moment to confess.
