Debut Preparations Part 2 | Invitations

Hi! Hey! Hello! Last night I came up with the idea of sharing some of my debut preparations here so others who are planning on having a big night celebration for their 18th birthday will have an idea how to do it without having a party planner.

This time, I will be sharing how I made my debut invitations.

Yes I am the one who made my invitations and thank God, I have Photoshop CC by my side (shoutout to Ms. Cheryl Isiderio for teaching us how to edit in this program in 9th Grade) and Google Images where I downloaded a few pictures.

Before finalizing my invitation, I had a few trial and error.

I even put succulents and cacti on this one and my parents suggest to remove it because they look like vegetables -_-

This one looks too icy

Hmm too plain...

Too simple...

JUST NOT THIS ONE!

Flowers look too vintage

I actually like this one but I tried another design.

Looks like a wedding invite...

The flower wreath is not synchronize so NO!

THIS ONE SCREAMS EWWWWWW hahaha

I decreased the opacity of this one to make the words visible but my tita said they're readable still with the background's natural color.

*If you notice some details were change*

We bought board papers and refilled the printer's ink because I was the one who printed all invitations at home :3

With a few fonts I downloaded from Dafont.com, I made a layout of my invitation names using MS Word. Copy-paste may be easy for paragraphs but I had to be extra careful with this one because one wrong move and everything's a mess.

Unlike other Debut invitations which contain the names of the people included in their 18 traditions, mine didn't. Instead, using Photoshop again, I made a small card that informs the receiver of the invitation if he/she is part of my 18 traditions.

Part 2 of my Debut Preparations is done. Thank you to my friends who are giving me their feedback about my posts. I'd be honored if you share this with others too. Keep in touch for Part 3. - Fat
